Index cards from the Dollar Store (or equivalent in your area) make handy post cards. Saves postage and encourages quick notes.May frustrate those of you who insist every card must be a work of art....but for those "slap 'n stamp" advocates out there, (there are a few of us left) they encourage quick notes, quick stamps and more frequent contact! Sometimes friends just want the hear from you and don't require "elegant."

Gloria Swiech notes that if you provide a space on your card for the PO's zip and bar codes, they are less apt to mark randomly over your art work. It's worth a try, for those times you are not willing to stand in line and point out to the clerk where you'd like the cancellation and other information to go.

And....just for fun>>>
