It is really hard to write about me, but, here goes.
I'm living my dream. I'm married to a wonderful man who is very supportive of my creative habit. I have two grown children but they both married late in life so I'm not a grandma.
Unless, you can count their cats and dogs. *
I live in paradise in the coastal area of South Carolina. I am constantly inspired by the beautiful ocean, marshes, wild life and moss draped oaks. I've been known to collect bits and pieces from my walks that will end up on one of my cards.
I've been stamping for over 20 years. I did take a short break and when I came back to it, oh my, how things had changed. It was fun learning all of the new techniques. I have my favorite old standby techniques but now I can emboss with a machine, color with metallics and use papers that are almost too beautiful to use. Since retiring I've become very active on the internet with my stamping. I have a blog, I belong to several forums and I'm on several Design Teams. Stamping has opened up a whole new world to me and I love it. Remember, I'm living my dream... I have a wonderful life, loving family and time to be creative.
I love how this turned out. I have used it for the color challenge, metallics, at Gingersnaps.
It is heat embossed with gold and painted with pearlescent water color paints in greens, gold and copper.
Isn't it exciting and rewarding when a project turns out well? Thanks for sharing this Jeanette.
