This angel grew
out of a conversation with Elizabeth Perini. Elizabeth sent
photos of flowers called "Angel Trumpets." She was
so enamored by them that she was late for church (devil's handiwork?)
because she took so many pictures.
They are lovely
flowers and "in person" are much larger and more defined
than the Morning Glories and Petunias which they resemble. Not
sure this will show in a carving but"in the works."
For now, the angel
you see here is the result, with its blossom halo and wing leaves.

The angel from the
Early Bird list could not be reconstructed. Both the digital
file and the carving were destroyed. This is a new carving.
It is as close as possible to the original but exact replication
was not possible.

Linda Blackbird
provides these "renditions" of the musical
angels.
"I
like the way it turned out, what do you think? They're
stamped in dye ink (blue, purple and green) on glossy
white....then I dabbed a little antiquing gel on them.
Cut them out and mounted them to the black glossy cardstock.
The music in the background is stamped with Brilliance
pigment ink in Mineral. Stamp is by Stampendous.?

Not
just a "Christmas Angel" this design is appropriate
for many occasions throughout the year.
