Judy Aguayo Presents Some Great Christmas Ideas

First....Meet Judy (if you didn't already meet her when she previously did several classes (Summertime and At the Seashore) for gg designs. Judy: Do you want to know that I was born in Texas, now live in California, have five kids (grown-up, thank goodness), and seven grandkids? And one great husband! ggd: Yes, we want to know all that! And more! Judy: After retiring about five years ago, I almost made a wrong turn into quilting but got pulled into rubber stamping by my sister Sherry. Have taken many classes - some by famous teachers, most not-so-famous. Got interested in Cyberstampers classes last year and now teach an occasional on-line class for them. . Judy: What would I do if I didn't stamp? Would have to go back to work or take a world cruise to keep from getting bored! ggd: Quilting is OK, but we're glad you got into stamping. We vote a resounding "NO" on going back to work. A world cruise on the otherhand......!

Christmastime Preparations Wrapping Paper Stamp holly with warm green chalk ink on banner paper. Berries colored with red marker, holly berry stmp used to stamp red and gold berrien ins white spaces. Wrapped Box   Tied with green ribbon. The tag was stamped on cardstock and cut out. Berries on tag were colored with a red glaze pen. Gift Bag Spray the bag with Gold Wonder Wash or spray glitter. Stamp pinecone image on green cardstock with embossing ink and emboss with gold EP. Color the pinecones with a brown marker. Wipe excess marker off the EP. Cut out the image along the embossing and layer it on red and green cardstock. Attach to the bag with double stick tape. The green ribbon has wired edges. Wrap it around the bag handles and tie a bow in it. Then scrunch ite ends a bit. Make the tag by embossing the image once moreon green card stock and cutting part of it out. Holly Card gg designs stamp sheets have a raised edge all around them. Cut these off and attach a bunch of them to an over-large acrylic handle with glue stick. (Note: the "edge" is usually found on whole sheets or sets. Not every stamp has this border.) Ink it up with Brilliance Gold. Stamp the care, then re-ink the stamp , turn it 90 degrees and stamp again. Stamp the holly on another piece of cs with warm green chalk ink. Color the berries with red glaze pen and cut image out. Attach to the card with double stick tape. Stamp "Happy Holidays" under it with Colorbox red pigment ink and emboss the words with clear ep. Glue on a red ribbon bow. Pine Cone Card Emboss with gold ep. Cut out and color pinecones with brown marker. Layer with red and green card stock. Stamp "Happy Holidays" at bottom with red pigment ink and emboss with clear embossing powder. Tags Lights and ornament stamps have two sections. Ink in two colors-gold and silver for tops and several different pigment inks for the bottoms. Emboss with clear embossing powder. Cut them out. Make small hole with 1/16" hole punch and trhead through some white pearl cotton for the tie-on. Candy cane was done the same way-stamped, embossed, cut-out. The upside down ornament shows the "to/from" stamp from the sheet of mini stamps. The one with the striped top is a fold over tag. Stamp the stocking with red pigment ink, allowing enough card stock to the right of it to fold. Emboss with clear embossing powder. Fold it along the cuff section and cut out both layers of card stock at once. Leaving them attached at the cuff section. The to/from stamp is on the inside. The other stockings are also stamped in red and embossed. Fun flock is used on the cuff and heel and toe on one of them. The other has green glaze on the heel and toe. Check out the Christmas section to find these images..... Angel Cards Background sheets are DTP (Direct to Paper) with Shimmer Sheen Glues (from Evolving Images, a Dueling Modems vendor). Different colors of glue are squirted onto the card stock then spread around with a fake credit card and allowed to dry. Angel image is stamped in gold pigment ink and embossed with gold embossing powder. Cut the image out along the embossed edges. Mount image on purple velvet paper, then attach the whole thing to gold card. . Stamp each of the angel images on white card stock with embossing ink and emboss them with gold embossing powder. Color them with regular markers and gel pens with glitter. Cut them out. Layer them on purple Stardream card stock. The middle image is stuck down with double sided tape. The two outer ones are attached with double stick foam tape. "Noel" was stamped in upper right corner and embossed with gold embossing powder. Whole assemblage is layered on gold paper, then red Stardream card. To see additional angel choices
